Preparing Tomorrow's Communicators with Today's Technology
Technology seems to change daily. One moment an app or software is all the rage, and the next it is spiraling down the memory hole. One of the challenges current journalism and communication educators consistently face is figuring out which technologies are necessary to effectively teach our students, as we fret about whether that technology will become irrelevant before those students enter the real world. In this session,the discussion centers on the tension between teaching or learning from technology and being prepared for tomorrow's workforce.
